This is one of the most frustrating things about Outlook is the hoops you have to jump through to copy it off to another machine or even get it reinstalled on a new machine. It is just stupid really. Outlook knows where to look for crying out loud!" I say it all the time. One of these days I'll have some time and write some code to do this - yeah right. ;o) Good luck - John B -----Original Message----- From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Susan Harkins I'm probably going to have to reinstall Outlook -- the translator files have been corrupted and I'm trying to export data to an Access data and it just can't do it. I don't mind losing settings or rules -- that sort of thing, but will reinstalling destroy the mail in my pst folders and entries in my address book? Or will the installation process maintain them? _______________________________________________ dba-Tech mailing list dba-Tech at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/dba-tech Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
